When your WhatsApp Business account is connected to Genesist. Next, we will move on to the important part, add Whastapp Business to Studio, where you will configure the agent and conversation workflow. Let's proceed to the next part.
Go to the Agents Page:
Click "+ Create" to create a new agent.
Fill in Agent Data and Save:
- Enter the required data for the Agent.
- Click "Save" to save the Agent settings.
Choose WhatsApp for In-App Chat:
- Change "In-App Chat" in Start Conversation.
- Then select "WhatsApp" as the type of conversation to be used.
Select a Number from the Credentials List:
Choose the WhatsApp number you want to use for this agent from the available credentials list.
Change Global Prompt (If Needed):
Click the pencil icon to change the "Global Prompt" as needed.
Add Knowledge Node:
- Click the "+" icon below the node.
- Select and click "Knowledge".
Choose Knowledge Type and Enter Data:
- You will be given the option to choose the type of knowledge to be used. Example:

JSON
Audio
- As an example, here we use a PDF Document:
Click "+doc".
Name Knowledge and Save:
- Input knowledge name & Upload your document in PDF format.
- Click "Save".
Connect Global Prompt Node to Knowledge:
- Click the circle icon below the "Global Prompt" node.
- Connect to the "Knowledge" node that has been created.
Add Action Node:
- Click the "+" icon below the "Knowledge" node.
- Select "Action" and then select "Q&A".
Configure Action Node (Q&A):
- Fill in "Name", "Instruction Prompt", and "Related Document" as needed.
- Click "Save".
Connect Knowledge Node to Action:
Connect the "Knowledge" node to the "Action" node.
Add END Node:
- Click the "+" icon below the "Action" node.
- Select and click "END".
- Connect the "Action" node to the "END" node.
Save Agent:
Click "Save Agent" to save all agent settings that have been made.
Try Agent:
- Click "Start Session" to try the agent.
- You can try by scanning the QR Code or clicking "Open WhatsApp".
Test Agent on WhatsApp:
- Try the agent that has been created via WhatsApp Mobile or Desktop.
- Ask some questions or interactions according to the instructions you have set in Studio.
